DR. GURJINDER NANGAL
D.V.M.

Dr. Gurjinder graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science from Punjab Agriculture University in 1996. His veterinary interests include minimally invasive diagnostic techniques, emergency Medicine, internal Medicine and soft tissue Surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys Spending time at home with family, reading books and gardening.

DR. SANDEEP GUPTA
D.V.M.

Dr. Gupta earned his Bachelor of Veterinary Science Degree in 2002. He has practiced in a range of clinical environments, complementing our medical, surgical, dental and emergency medical skills with the knowledge and techniques he has mastered over the past 18 years.

Dr. Gupta has a special interest in preventative Medicine, clinical pathology, and dermatology. Dr. Gupta thoroughly enjoys being a veterinarian as it encompasses both his passion to help animals as well as their owners

DR. VISHANTHA PATABENDI (SAM)
D.V.M

Dr. Sam Patabendi graduated from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka with a BVSc in Veterinary Medicine, and Animal Science in 2003. Dr. Sam brings experiences from a multitude of sectors such as the technical management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, mixed animal practice in the provincial government service, and general medical experience in small animal practice. Dr. Sam passion is classic cars from the 60’s and 70’s and has a special interest in Japanese models.

Dr. PAYAL SHARMA
Veterinarian

Dr. Payal Sharma completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) in 2013 from GADVASU Punjab India, followed by a master’s degree in veterinary pathology. She moved to Canada in 2021 to continue her veterinary career and has been a valued member of Ramsay Animal Clinic since 2023. After obtaining her full veterinary license in Canada in 2024, she has been providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for companion animals. Dr. Sharma enjoys all aspects of small animal practice, with a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. She is passionate about lifelong learning and believes that continuing to expand her knowledge every day allows her to provide the highest standard of care for her patients. She is dedicated to building strong relationships with pet owners and delivering compassionate, individualized care to every pet she treats.

In her free time, Dr. Sharma enjoys spending quality time with her family and reading, which helps her relax and recharge outside of the clinic.

DR. NAVDEEP KAUR

Dr. Navdeep completed her BVSc degree from Punjab Agricultural University and also completed her MVSc in microbiology from the same University. She migrated to Canada in 2009 with her family. Before Joining Ramsay Animal Clinic, she also worked at Foothills Medical Center as Sterilization Processing Technician. Her favorite time is taking care of patients. If she is not at work, you will find her enjoying running in the evenings. Apart from this, she likes to enjoy time with herself.

DR. HESHANTHI HERATH

Dr. Heshanthi Completed her BVSc degree in University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and pursed a MSc in veterinary immunology in University of Calgary. She is a temporary registered veterinarian and started working with Ramsay animal clinic in May 2026. She is interested in veterinary surgery and currently focusing on completing her license in Canada. She loves to hike with her dog in her free time.

ADYSON FOSTER
Veterinary Technician

Adyson started working at Ramsay Animal Clinic in June 2026 after graduating from the Olds College vet tech program in 2024. She is very passionate about caring for animals of all sizes and helping people. Outside of work she loves to spend time with her two cats, Azrael and Sushi, or taking one of her three horses out for a ride back home.

SERENA PERMANN
Veterinary Assistant

Serena, after graduating from Robertson College in May 2021, started working here in September 2021. Growing up she has always had a strong passion for animals. She gets to help her mom with breeding and has had many previous jobs surrounding animals. She has since got the opportunity to become clinic manager to pursue her veterinary career further. Her favorite thing about working at Ramsay is all the amazing clients and staff we have. She has 2 cats at home; a black female longhair named Bean and her newest addition a little ginger longhair boy named Toasty.

KYLA LIZOTTE
Veterinary Assistant

Kyla has been working at Ramsay Animal Clinic since August 2023 after graduating from her assistant course at Lakeland College. She has a Pitbull at home named Diesel who is a big cuddly baby. Her favorite part of working at Ramsay is creating memories for pet parents that have lost their loved ones. Outside of work she’s usually spending her time at the dog park with Diesel or curled up reading a book.

ANMOLDEEP KAUR
Veterinary Assistant

Anmol started working at Ramsay in December of 2025. She is a compassionate team member who loves working with animals and supporting pet owners. She spends most of her time as our front receptionist to ensure you always have a friendly familiar face when walking into the clinic. She enjoys learning new skills in veterinary care and is dedicated to making pets feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry and learning French.

BROOKE BRABANT
Veterinary Assistant

Brooke has been working at Ramsay since December 2025. She is passionate about animal care and has grown up working in doggy day cares and kennels. She loves helping pets stay happy and healthy. Outside of work she enjoys spending time being active with her German Shepherd Cisco. Her favorite part of working at Ramsay is caring for patients, building relationships with their families and working alongside an amazing Veterinary team.

MAKAYLA SHAW
Veterinary Assistant

Makayla is one of our Veterinary Assistants, she started working at Ramsay Animal Clinic in May of 2026 while completing her studies as a Veterinary Assistant. Her love for animals extends beyond the workplace. She is the proud owner of two dogs who are a huge part of her life and inspire her commitment to animal health and happiness every day. Whether caring for patients in the clinic or spending time with her own pets, she is passionate about creating positive experiences for animals and their owners.
